Horror Realm is pleased to announce that United Cerebral Palsy and The Epilepsy Foundation of Western/Central PA will be the beneficiaries of a silent auction fundraiser that will be part of the Saturday night monster costume ball. The charities were selected in honor of Ken Foree, Horror Realm guest and creative consultant.

If you wish to donate an item for the silent auction, please contact Miss Dee at info@horrorrealmcon.com.

Following is a personal appeal from Mr. Foree:

Hello friends,

While you gather at Horror Realm for some good, clean horror and zombie fun, I ask you to also consider the important work of agencies that work with individuals with conditions resulting from traumatic brain injury, or TBI. Having a child in my family afflicted with TBI, I feel very strongly about raising awareness about TBI and the related medical conditions cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Below you will find some facts about these conditions as well as contact information for the local Pittsburgh chapters of United Cerebral Palsy and the Epilepsy Foundation. Please take time to read about these conditions and consider donating or volunteering your time to support these causes, which are very real and very important to me. Thank you for your time.

With warmest regards,
Ken Foree
